Would you expect Chicago to consider moving him? What would they want back?

Anytime I watch the Hawks play he's pretty noticeable, a very mobile defenseman. Given how affordable his contract is you'd gotta think he'd be worth at least a 2nd round pick.
He's a former Oilers draft pick, anyone know why he didn't sign with them? Or is it just another case of Edmonton not knowing what they have.. Lol

I posed this question before. Think we came to the agreement of at least a 2nd. I offered brown and a second and most hawks fans seemed to be good with that. They have some young talent to move up.

Brown from Toronto?
Yeah they do, Chicago would be wise to approach Keith to see if he'd be willing to accept a trade and if so where, getting a decent return for Keith and relieving his cap hit would really help turn things around for the Hawks and Keith could likely still contribute to a contending team if he's in the right role.

He's incredibly affordable and excellent offensively. I think a defensively sound team in need of more blueline scoring could give up a second round pick for him or maybe a nice prospect and a lower round pick.

My idea was to pair him with zaitsev next year.

That could actually be really interesting. Zaitsev isn't awful defensively, so maybe pairing them with their opposites could better both of them.

what would you be willing to give up for him, from a TOR perspective?

Brown and a 2019 second at the draft.

I'd be cool with that. I'm personally of the opinion that the Hawks keep him, but I really like that offer, if trading him is inevitable

Brown and a 2nd for Gustafsson? Sign me up, that’s a fair deal. Toronto can afford to give up Brown and Gus would help the Leafs quite a bit.

He's worth a late 1st so Brown and a 2nd isn't bad except the Leafs 2nd is going to basically be close to a 3rd. I would hate to see the Hawks move him at this point. He is the reason the Hawks have turned their PP around.
