Please don't comment about 2019-20 and beyond cap problems. Just a fun thought. If we could score two Staal brothers and put them with Phil...what a 3rd line. Plus get Ferland. Plus have cap room for 3 scratches in the playoffs - and a nasty PP2.

Pretty wild this team would still be under the cap. I think maybe if you took out Simon & Ferland, it would still be a fine trade. Pretty good team you put together. Would hate to lose Olli, though

Wild have no need for Maatta. We have a better player at an identical cap hit with Brodin. If we're out of the playoffs I could see a trade like:

I have no interest in J.Staal at $6M. But if you did get J.Staal then there is no need to pay the assets to get E.Staal.

Just for fun to have them. I know J. signed in CAR just to play with E. then E. left. Might like playing together again. Plus CAR would probably have to retain some you are right, plus us sweeten the pot with picks.
