Description

Attempt at a TDL if Armstrong realizes this team probably isn’t good enough. The value for each trade might be a little off, but the main idea is what I’m trying to get here. Thought about moving Gunnarsson but I don’t see them moving both JBo and him. Steen and Allen are problems but you can’t do much about em.

I didn’t spend too much time picking teams for him and Maroon, the Habs make sense as well.

Leafs have to send an equal amount of money back to any team in a deal. Certainly not cap friendly for the Leaf this year and next year.
Leafs have been awful lately, and it hasn't been the defence so much as their forwards.

Probably, but my thoughts are I don’t think Armstrong moves him unless he gets great value. Obviously that could be with different pieces but he absolutely can’t mess up trading a guy like Petro.

Money would have to be the same on both sides. I like Kapanen, but i wonder if Nylander is more feasible because of money. Not saying i would want Nylander over Kapanen, just saying the money has to work. Unless the Leafs make another trade to free up space (like revisit with Carolina about Nylander). I really dont want Zaitsev, but if Nylander isnt in the deal he would have to be. It will be a tricky deal because of the finances involved. This is probably why it's more than likely an off-season move.
