Mark Stone made Colin White who was struggling in the AHL looking like a future solid player. He also caused Smith to have 23 goals

Personally, I think you need to give Crosby the respect since he's done it for basically his entire career and have him at 1

None of the players on the list or mentioned by the commentators ever did what Joe Thornton did for Jonathan Cheechoo, turn a journey man AHL playing into a 56 goal player. This is not to diminish the players mentioned only to emphasize the skills of Thornton.

Oh 100%. Thornton is a first ballet HOFer. The guy who made this list is clearly younger haha doesn’t remember how sick Thornton was back in his prime

I disagree with Ovechkin and Ekblad. I think Weber could be on here though. He makes AHL players look like solid defenseman every night.

Ovi’s a legend. There’s a lot of guys in the league who make players around them better. 10 people isn’t enough

Ovechkin makes other players look better no problem.
I mean it's not hard to look like a good hockey player compared to someone who stands in his circle all day.

Ovi is good on his own but he doesn't make people around him better. He plays for himself.

I mean.... if you play on a line with him you’re bound to pick up some assists, but I get what you’re saying
