Dzingel is a UFA in the summer and EDM likely isn't making the playoffs. Why not try to sign him July 1st and keep those assets?

I think you need to consider who's first it is. A team like Tampa that pick is 30, 31 depending on playoff outcome vs Oilers who 2nd round pick could be 32-40. Plus a decent prospect
