That's already being removed by placing Clarkson on LTIR. There is $1.6M in buyout plus $2M buried contracts in the minors.

Buyouts and Buried Contracts would already added in that 79.8M, and a person on LTIR doesn't use LTIR room they give you more. Only thing that could bite them in the ass is if Puljujarvi hits a bonus magically

Oilers have 3M in ltir, they have 79.5M+3M = ~82.5M cap if they want to use the extra.

Nope. Not how it works. Your numbers already excluded the LTIR player. The original roster was assuming Sekera returned from the LTIR.
