Description
I don't necessarily mean that this team will be contenders but by acquiring Bishop and signing Stamkos they could potentially make the playoffs. Some of the young guys might struggle at times and the defense is still kind of shallow but I think this team could compete for a wild card spot.

Trade will never go through. Bishop and Carle are both much too valuable for a player like Bozak??? Tampa already has a 3rd line centre.

Bishop will want big money when his contract is up and Carle has a bigger cap hit than hes worth. If your referring to Boyle as your 3rd Line center I would rather have Bozak in that slot because he can move up the lineup better than Boyle can if there are injuries.

You mean like TB has incurred hit year and still made the conference finals?

I think Boyle walks and TB brings in an upgrade at C to be honest. Bozak just isn't what they need.

Not sure why TB would want Sparks or Percy. Take them out of the deal then add a fair bit. At that point leafs pass.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Yes Tampa lost Stamkos, Johnson and Filppula have plaid well in his absence. Bozak is an upgrade on Boyle. He will get more points and would be more effective on the 2nd line than Boyle would if there were injuries to the top six.

Also thanks for the insight: "TB bring in an upgrade at C..." pretty much every teams goal at every position.

But they are cup contenders. Much easier when you have cap space and you are good.
