Regardless, Montreal isn't trading those pieces.

So your team can make a good run in the playoffs especially if you gonna trade for a good LHD...

But you don’t want to give up a prospect you don’t need and a couple of secound rounder to go ona big run

Montreal has no plans to go on a deep run in the playoffs. Trades like these ruin teams. If you want to be good for a long time, you draft and develop and not "go all in". That's a very dumb move.

Maybe they will be in the secound round and third round of the playoffs every year but they will never win the cup

neither of these deals address both teams needs . the reilly one's reasonable but thats it .

if anything i'd pay PHI for Sanheim who will be way more cost effective and after being passed on the depth chart multiple times Sanheim's found his Niche and could be ready to step up and log bigger minutes in MTL as unlike PHI all our strength is in our RD so Sanheim,Mete and Romanov could be around for years .

i'd do Sanheim for Fleury ,2nd and a AHL player for the Phantoms

If they draft and develop correctly, they can win the cup. I would much rather be Tampa bay than LA over the last 10 years.

I think developing ability is more important than luck. The only thing being unlucky can do is bring injuries.
