If you sent us Bowey. We'd need an RD replacement. Add a high C/low B prospect to the Connolly trade and get a late pick from Buffalo. That fourth line is what you call a hard working line. Wow.

RD prospect: Colby Williams?

B- forwards: Kammerer or Ikonen?

Thanks!

NYI says no - A forward core that will eventually include Barzal, Beauvillier, Ho-Sang, Bellows, and Wahlstrom is too tantalizing to pass up. It's not worth Connolly, who will likely be declining when Bellows, Ho-Sang, and Wahlstrom are making their impacts in the NHL.

You know more about the Caps than I do, but to me, I don't see the need for Larsson over Bowey, isn't Bowey a part of the long-term plan for you?

Putting aside my infatuation with Motte,,, Stecher is really coming into his own and the Canucks are definitely going to see what they have with him. I get the feeling he's as close to untouchable as you can get.

Kammerer for the Isles, we'd need Bowey. So Geisser and Ikonen for Larsson, Connolly and Kammerer for Bellows, Bura, Jaskin, Bowey, pick, for Stetcher, Motte, half-retained Gagner. The pick can be lowered. I feel like the Isles wouldn't want to trade Bellows. Maybe you'll get Dal Colle?

Connolly is a nice solid bottom 6 right wing but the Islanders shouldn’t give up Bellow for him especially on a rental. If the Isles move him it will be as a piece for a difference making wing

Lou: Hey Barry, it's Brian on the phone, calling about some kid named Bart?

Barry: Brett?

Lou: Yeah. Brett Conway?

Barry: Whatever. Get him.

Lou: Get Bart?

Barry: Get Bart.

Edit: Not particularly set on Bellows, just thinking of the Isles as a team with a bunch of foward prospects. Anyone of comparable value, still waiver exempt, that they'd give for, if not a difference making winger, at least he's the kind of wing who gets two goals and an assist in 51:12 of ice time in the Stanley Cup Finals. I'm sure Clutterbuck could totally do that, though. smile
