That Boston trade is actually horrendous. To think you would get something for Kesler and that god awful contract is hilarious. Carlo has 10x the amount of value that Kesler has

All over the board here. The Leafs trade might be close-ish, but that Boston trade...yikes...

As for the Pittsburgh trade? Gibby is the #1 or #2 goalie in the NHL. He's young and signed longterm on a very reasonable deal. Hard to pinpoint the actual value when it comes to tendies, but on his own he's worth more than Murray+1st+3rd. Then, you add Henrique. Also signed longterm, also affordable. His value last season was Vatanen, who's a top 4 dman. This deal is like trying to put your own head through a wall. Dumb, and pointless.

Josh Manson can get a by far better return, And several key NHL insiders have already said that Ryan Kesler wont waive his NMC so Anaheim is stuck with him.

You aren't getting anything for Kesler, use him as an expensive 3C at this point cause that's where he'll be most useful and no one is taking him.
If the Ducks trade one of their top 4 D which is what they should do they need to get a younger scoring winger in return not a defense prospect. They'd be smart to trade Silfverberg at the deadline for futures as well, need to start bringing in some youth on this roster. I hate the Ducks but that's what they need to do, is Eaves ever playing again, what's going on with him?
