Giant overpayment for Matheson. As for the Minnesota trade, the Juulsen+ for Brodie is good, but MTL doesn’t even do Lehkonen for Coyle straight up.

Why not Coyle for Lehko? Coyle 26yo 6'3'' who score 20G + in many season... It is a upgrade IMO.
Mathy is 24yo TOP D... you need to overpay if you can... and we can :-)
Schlemko OUT... Tatar has is best season in life.. sell high... and we do have alot of depth ias Domi would be back at LW.

Lehkonen’s younger, cheaper, and isn’t UFA in a year and a half. As for Matheson, I get selling high on Tatar, but there’s no reason to give up Lindgren in that trade. We can move him in another trade.

1. Ok for MIN trade. We need LD top 4 and right handed offensive talent top 9.
2. We don't need Matheson on our top 4...Mete's our man right now.

FLA doesnt need top 6 talent at all, Barkov, Hoffman, Dadanov, Huberdau, Trochek. Guys like Vatrano, Mccann and Bjugstad are all capable of playing in the top 6 as well with Borgstrom etc coming up in the system FLA doesnt need another forward, value doesnt seem too off, i think MTL would have to add a 3rd rounder or a B level prospect to even the value out

Tatar and Schlemko no where near the value for Matheson. Just because Tatar is having his best season of his career doesn’t mean anything. Hard pass for the Cats

I agree that FLA as alot of talent but they will missed the playoff again!
I believe they need a real TOP 6 and Bjug as a great year last season but can't repeat... I think Tatar would fit perfectly in there.
Hoffman- Barkov- Dadonov
Tatar- Trochek- Huberdeau
Again I understand that with this lost season, they won't trade Mathy
