    I don't think the NHL will allow the Callahan move. Remebers me the Brassard deal at trade deadline.

    If it’s formatted correctly I think they will. Callahan’s not going back to Tampa Bay, he’s being traded, and MTL retains salary in return for a 2nd, just as Vegas retained salary in return for Reaves.

    Thanks. We probably could get a bit more, I was making it similar to what Vegas got for retaining on Brassard’s contract last year, but it really depends on how you value Reaves.

    No thanks from LA. Goaltending pipeline is already stacked. Hudon is a fringe NHL player. This doesn't help them at all.

    Sure. Not sure the Kings have much use for Audette. You might just want to keep him and the 4th and let LA keep their 5th.

    Fair enough. If you're looking for a throw in, the Kings would prefer a winger. Maybe someone like Alain.
