Hell no. Reaves doesn't fit Toronto's style and wouldn't be used enough. & don't come at me with the toughness angle of his game. Leafs need toughness but guys that can still play the game. Think more like a Ferland from Carolina. Reinhart doesn't even crack the Marlies lineup in the AHL. Where as Brown is still plenty useful to Toronto, and Hainsey has some value (albeit very little) to the Leafs.
Toronto declines.
Reaves is having his most productive season. Brown has been nothing but useless for the Leafs.
I love the Leafs, but they cannot get through Boston without a scare tactic. You'll have players like Chara, McAvoy, Marchand, Wagner etc, running through our entire roster.
Kadri and Muzzin arent enough of a scare tactic imo.
Reaves can still play the game. Brown seems to have lost his confidence.
I understand your point on Hainsey. He could be useful to help with some of Gardiners defensive inefficiencies, but he has been known to be extremely slow. Also sucks to lose him as a PKer
Edit:
Just checked. Brown has 18 points, Reaver has 15. Reavers best season was 13 points. Brown is on pace for his best season.
I would also like Marner to have another friendship like he did with Martin. Reaver kinda has the same vibe to him.
