Hell no. Reaves doesn't fit Toronto's style and wouldn't be used enough. & don't come at me with the toughness angle of his game. Leafs need toughness but guys that can still play the game. Think more like a Ferland from Carolina. Reinhart doesn't even crack the Marlies lineup in the AHL. Where as Brown is still plenty useful to Toronto, and Hainsey has some value (albeit very little) to the Leafs.

Toronto declines.

I do like one thing about this trade... it keeps ozhiganov in the lineup. I’m excited to have muzzin but a bit sad to lose Ozzy.

Reaves is having his most productive season. Brown has been nothing but useless for the Leafs.

I love the Leafs, but they cannot get through Boston without a scare tactic. You'll have players like Chara, McAvoy, Marchand, Wagner etc, running through our entire roster.

Kadri and Muzzin arent enough of a scare tactic imo.

Reaves can still play the game. Brown seems to have lost his confidence.

I understand your point on Hainsey. He could be useful to help with some of Gardiners defensive inefficiencies, but he has been known to be extremely slow. Also sucks to lose him as a PKer

Edit:
Just checked. Brown has 18 points, Reaver has 15. Reavers best season was 13 points. Brown is on pace for his best season.
I would also like Marner to have another friendship like he did with Martin. Reaver kinda has the same vibe to him.

Brown's useless ? .. do you watch Leafs games? His production is down cause he plays 4th line minutes because of Toronto's depth. But he's a very important PK guy which is exactly his role. Reaves wouldn't kill a penalty. He'd be the guy in the box for taking one. Brown is very useful and is not just a cap dump

I have watched only a handful of games this year. Brown has been getting opportunities but cant finish. It's a shame when he is on a line with Tavares and Marner (with Hyman out) and he struggles to mount any offense. Babcock also did his signature line blender and threw out Matthew's with Hyman and Brown and the line was downright attrocious.
Sure he kills penalties. But we have 4 forwards to do that in Kappy, Marner, Hyman and Kadri. If we are in dire straits, we could use Tavares as the 5th PKer. And if we need an energy shift, I'm sure Goat, Lindholm and Reaver could get it done
