I would have targeted Tyler Johnson over JT Miller because it's a better player for your money imo but I like the Tampa trade, and that Ferland trade is exactly what management is looking for in return for Ferland. Nice job

I agree that Johnson is better than Miller but Johnson's got an NTC. As for Ferland, I really don't want to trade him to a divisional rival such as Pittsburgh. I would love to see what ferland can do in NSH.

Johnson would waive for playing time. He’s in Tampa’s bottom 6 for god sake. It’s not like we’re a tire fire either. He may waive not saying he would or won’t because I’m not Johnson. JT Miller would still be a nice add

Ferland i don’t want to see traded, what I’ve seen recommended is Vancouver because if it’s a lottery pick (Ottawa scenario protected of course) it may help dramatically as a fair hockey trade. Nashville would be a perfect fit for Ferland though. Give him Arvidsson, Johansson, Forsberg, Turris, Bonino etc, he’d excel
