Gudas is actually a useful player and Ghost trade isn't very good.

Well I would hope we could extend Pietrangelo. We all know what Ghost is now and that is a PP specialist. I don't think he is ever going to learn to be a 2-way D man. So either we shelter him on the 3rd pairing and play him on the PP or move him out to get better defensively. Seeing as we have a very bright future offensively and in this scenario we have EK to man the PP, Ghost is movable.

I would take this D over our current D in a heartbeat.

That's a damn good lookin' D corp on that roster.

Are you getting enough for Voracek though? I'm not familiar with Carolina's prospects. What would the protections on the 1st round look like?

If it ends up being a top 10 pick then it moves to 2021 unprotected.

Ghost was good actually good defensively last season rofl. Pietro is likely to fall off quite a bit in about 5 years so this trade is pretty.... bad.

I would love to see stats that show Ghost is good defensively because he sure isn't! The team as a whole was better last year. Even if he played better last year, he has regressed back to where he was. We know what Ghost is. And a player declining in 5 years is a fairly long time to be able to use him...It is not a bad trade. Rubstov will never see the Flyers roster imo and a 2nd so what.

Actually look at stats besides +/- rofl. Your takes are absolutely awful. Yeah let's sell a player while his value is low and just trade Rubtsov simply because he'll never see our roster. Yup.

So instead of moving Rubstov for something useful, you would rather have him buried in the AHL. And my takes are awful? You must not actually watch games, I do! Ghost is horrible in his own end and it is visibly noticeable! I couldn't care less about +/-. Do you think Pietrangelo is bad or something because if that is the case, you have no clue what you are talking about!

Yes, I watch just about every game. I also look at adv. stats to tell me what my eyes may have missed. Rubtsov I likely see being a high end 4C for us. Pietro isn't bad now but it's not crazy to say he may start declining pretty soon. Most of your trades are just usually trash lol. I guess we should trade Provy since he's been poor defensively this year too.

Sorry for the insults, man. I just hate seeing Ghost trade proposals lol.

Why would I trade Provy when the majority of the time he has been good at both ends of the ice? Ghost isn't Provy! If Ghost can get us a stud, veteran RHD I am all for it in the above scenario. Take a look what we have done without Ghost in the past 3 games. Also look at his TOI in the previous 3 games (that we won). He played limited minutes in those games. In fact, he played the least amount of any D man in those 3 games. Clearly Gordon is seeing what I am seeing.

I guess AMac is really good since we've won since he's returned to the lineup. You can't say Ghost has been bad this season while not admitting to Provy having a rough season (I wouldn't trade either). The only guys who come to my head who may be worth trading Ghost for is Hamilton and Parayko.

Of course Provy hasn't been good this year but he has shown in both his previous seasons that he can be relied upon defensively. Ghost has done that maybe once. 1/4 years isn't good.

Fair enough but he's better than guys like Hagg/AMac. I just don't think Pietro would be the right target in a trade.
