I know Carolina is looking to move Ferland, I would be all over that if I were Chia...no...the new Oilers GM.....no...whoever is in charge over there.

Maybe even Brassard form PIT and give him a first line role beside McDavid?

Burakovsky, Possibly Bjugstad, Simmonds?...just a few suggestions

Team needs a three year time machine, that gives us some extra cap space and time for defensive prospects to develop into NHLers. Not much chance of swinging any big trades in my opinion. Not worth it to bring in any rentals this season (I still think they should make a push for the playoffs though) and won't be any cap room for a big free agent acquisition in the off season. Biggest hope is resigning Chiasson to a cheap contract but I have a hard time believing that will happen with the club in management turmoil right now.

1st line winger aka. Byron/Grabner? like. An elite 2nd line LW Skinner/Hall/Panarin, a 3rd line Center Nelson/Faksa, an Impact 3rd or 4th liner Pirri/Nosek/Janmark. A RD Parayko ideally, Faulk is fine. A goaltender like Halak or Lehner over Talbot. No Sekera, Manning, Talbot, Lucic, Kassian?
