Garbage lines. Cant replace Brown and a 3rd for a "4th liner" smh

Brown is a current 3rd liner and youre giving up a slappin 3rd rounder too. Youre downgrading.

As much as I love Brown and he really is versatile for the Leafs, he only has 4 goals, and this can get you a couple million dollars more in cap room next year. Ferlund is also on pace for a quiet 20 goals with a low cap hit.

Brown is probably on his way out this summer anyways because of the cap situation so this could be a good deal for the Leafs but it depends on how Carolina feels about Brown, do they think they can get a better pick? Do they think Brown can play on the 2nd line where they have a hole?

This is a trade that makes sense outside of the organizations but you dont really know what they think.
