Description

Brassard has been a target of the Blue Jackets for awhile now, enables Florida to get first dibs at signing Bobrovsky and helps clear Reimers contract to do so. Deal also avoids purging Florida's futures this season since the team is currently near the bottom of the standings. I don't see them moving their first round pick this season for Bob at all even if an extension is guaranteed.

There's just no reason for the panthers to deal meaningful futures for any player, not even Bob or Panarin. Only conditional picks at most imo.
