Description

I hope no one outside of Winnipeg and Southern California watched that embarrassment tonight. I've never seen a team play with such utter lack of energy and heart like the once-mighty, now-hapless Ducks. There is such an evident lack of leadership that the first thing to be done is to strip Getzlaf and Perry of the "C" and "A" immediately.

The local newspaper had an article today asking the rhetorical question about Carlyle's future, concluding that he will probably last until the end of the season. After tonight's pathetic debacle, his leash should be shortened to one game. If the Ducks deliver the same listless, uninvolved mail-in as they did against St Louis and Winnipeg, Carlyle should go.

Carlyle should have been turfed in November IMO. No coach in the league can survive lengthy losing streaks quite like that gentleman

What is it now -- 15 out of 17? I've lost track. This team quit before the New Year. Why?

I watched it and nothing is better then seeing the Ducks get a beating laid on them! ?.. But in their defence it was the Ducks first game back from their week off whereas the Jets have already played three games since they had their week off and the Ducks had three guys playing their first games coming off of injuries so they'd obviously be rusty.

That was fun to watch as a Winnipeg but yeesh. I know the ducks are already a slow team but they came sleeping out of their bye-week
