I don't think the Hawks would do it. The value is so so and the main reason why being 2 RFA's, one who's looking like a bust and the other who's going through a huge sophmore slump. Would I do Heinen plus a 4th for Anisimov and Hawks retain $500K...yes.

Krug who's a UFA after another year, has a very big contract, his production is way down this year and he's undersized. Additionally, the Hawks have plenty of D prospects coming up. There's not a chance we move Strome for him.

How is JFK a bust? He's played 29 NHL games and is only 22.

Not that the Bruins would do the trade either though...

Krug who's a UFA after another year, has a very big contract, his production is way down this year and he's undersized. Additionally, the Hawks have plenty of D prospects coming up. There's not a chance we move Strome for him.


Krug is on pace for a career high 61 points. Not sure how that qualifies as his production being way down. Pretty sure Krug is top 10 in scoring among all NHL d-men lol

*Correction - Krug is 13th among NHL d-men in points, however everyone ahead of him has played more games
