The Blues just laugh at you for that offer. I would rather keep Seabrook over Lucic. Lucic should be on your 4th line at $6m per year.

I could see the deal with the Sens happening. But they would want the 2019 1st round pick in any deal and doubt you want to do that for a possible rental. Maybe a conditional 2019 first, where it becomes a 2020 if he doesn't sign.

That is hilarious. Blues wouldn't accept an offer from the Hawks in the first place, but that is next level dumb.

i disagree with the laugh at you comment. it all depends on if the blues are rebuilding, which nobody knows. but they get a 1st round pick from last year, 2 potential top 4 defenseman, a kid who if he figures it out is a top 9 guy, and a second round pick, that is still valuable.

Blues are not rebuilding. We are 1 point out of a playoff spot right now.

idk why the hawks would do the sens trade, they need to rebuild, their core players are over 30, even with adding stone your loosing Saad... OTT proly would not accept.

Blues trade is totally out of balance and the Hawks are fine with Jokihjaru, Boqvist and Mitchell all on the right.

The OTT trade is just plain stupid for a rental when the Hawks have a 8% chance of making the playoffs.
