Too much for Lindholm... Never reached 40pts (even though he is seen as a number one Dmen in any team).

Lindholm could play 22 min+ a game, just what Mtl needs to wait for Mete and Romonov to develop.
Poehling would be at best a 3rd line center... I would try to keep the 1st choice instead (and replace it by a 2nd or 3rd if needed).

I'm watching Poehling play every night with St-Cloud and he is just so dominant... He displays a ton of skills, speed and hockey IQ. He's even solid defensively. He's going to be a really great 2C putting 55-65 pts each year at his prime

Nah, not getting Poehling.
MTL needs to retain and develop prospects.
For years they have been a barrow waste land when it comes to prospect. They now have a deep system with some really nice pieces.

shows you've missed this entire year

as discovered last year Poehling had a breathing obstruction in his nose that required surgery which he had this summer . this Drastically improved not only his Stamina and Ice time but also Role on his team's both in St cloud and for team USA Leading the Tournament as their MVP .

MTL lucked out , had this breathing abnormality been discovered a year before he got drafted he could have went higher and we'd never have found him .

Poehlings untouchable period because he's a possession center with size and power who will be a top 6 forward while Danault returns to third line for bulk faceoffs getting his minutes on special teams . That is how Claude Julien Works giving more 5v5 ice time to Rookies and Career 4th liners conserving his Special teams players energy for the long season.

Over rating defensive skills again... Minor leagues are full of 'two way' forwards... You can show a kid to play well 'without the puck' but hard to show them how to score goals.

And by the way, if is that good, Anaheim will want him as we get a Left D for the next 10 years...

you're high right ?

anyone who's ever played hockey knows being a Natural Goal Scorer isnt something you pick up in the AHL you either are or arent by the time you hit Junior and most of the Goal Scorer's in Junior dont hit more then a dozen goals in their NHL Career's its only the league leaders in the top 5 that usually stand out each year .

the minor league isnt full of two way forwards *Shakes head * MOST of the AHL forwards currently playing are their because they are a liability Defensively not because they cant score look at Agostino an AHL Scoring Leader who never got a shot until he cleaned up his defensive game and carved out a spot for himself on 4th lines where he's hit career high production as a result because the coach trusts him not to lose the team games with poor play in his own end .

for the love of god learn something about Hockey , if you've never been to Double Digit amount of hockey games live then you really know as much as a Teenager (meaning you just think you know because you have no life experience or insight to offer )

as i always do , when Mahura hits the big time ill be back to this post to mock you for being so naive publicly (i had tons of fun doing this regarding kotkanemi this year smile )

Remind me for which NHL team you work?
Being a geek in your basement doesn't allow you to insult people here.
Kind regards
