He’s playing great no doubt. But before anyone gets ahead of themselves, gotta remember it’s still a small sample size and the league is still building a book on him. Once the book is out I’m really curious to see how he adjusts. Price was a phenom right from the get-go too but it wasn’t always smooth sailing, but he adjusted and I’m sure Hart will too

I think Carter Hart is going to be an exceptional goaltender. Right now the NHL has no "book" on him. They're finding his weaknesses game by game. His positioning is sound, his aggressiveness is on point....right now there's little flaw in his game. I'm hoping that he improves from here. I'm hoping our management gives him the time (unlike Homer did with Bob - which may have been a Snider move) to develop his game properly in the NHL.

The Flyers have had rookie goalies show a lot of potential their first season, Dominic Roussel, Tommy Soderstrom, Brian Boucher, Roman Cechmanek, Bob - all lasted 2-3 years never improving. Roussel, Soderstrom, Boosh, Bob all traded....Cechmanek - turned into a freakin headcase....I have more confidence in Hart them any of those guys....I believe he's the answer to the PHI goaltending problems, but they have to surround him in order for the team to succeed.
