      Why would Tampa Bay trade Alex Killorn ? I don't think they need/want a 1st round pick either. Otherwise it seems good.

      To get a head start on getting cap room for the surely massive stamkos extension and re-sign the tirplets. They have the prospects to make up for it, and it would be hard to keep him at the end of this year as a ufa. There's a possibility other teams would come up with a better offer if they were to go that route and make him available, but hey, it's fucking armchair gm. What we should have done is traded despres for him last offseason when they were both rfas and before tampa fixed their defense, but alas.
