Thoughts:
Johnnsonn will be a draft day deal in my opinion, just an opportunity to acquire new assets for Dubas.
Brown for oleksiak is a simple 1 for 1, money in, money out hockey deal that I think would help both sides out.
Zaitsev wont have much trade value due to his contract. Any gm will know Dubas has his back to the wall.

Try to trade Zaitsev for guy like Honka and 7th or 6th. He should be available for that and Leafs can rejuvenate his careeer.

any GM with half a brain knows either the leafs will lose one from Nylander Marner or Kapenen by not making these **** trades. Theyre better to press the leafs into over paying just like the Hawks had to

Technically they didn’t as it was for 3.4, but I think I disagreed at the amount for just 2 years. They ended up getting 4 years for that amount so it is extremely acceptable.
