Bruins laugh and hang up. Makes no sense for them. Why give up a 45 point guy...for a guy who MAY hit 45 again if he's lucky. Same thing for Barber. You give up a proven NHLer, albeit a bottom 6 guy, for a fringe NHLer? Why?

Yeah doesn't make any sense for Boston. Caps take it and run. I think offering Burakovsky and Barber and a 3rd probably gets it done. But at that point, not sure I have any interest. A lot of assets for a guy who is sort of in the same spot as Burakovsky.

Value is bad for Boston. They get the worst part of each part of the deal. Make sense?
