I think the value would be off in your trade, due to Senko being younger and cheaper. The contracts are fine I even think you gave Provy & Sanheim more than he will get but a lot of it is believable and possible. They have the money for a free agent and to keep all their RFAs. I think they can either offer Voracek, Hagg/Morin and a pick for Tarasenko and a lower pick, I just don't think it's fair value straight up.

Tarasenko is the Blues best scorer. They won't move him straight up for a puck mover who is younger and cheaper. You are also overpaying Provy by about 2 mil

Agreed to an extent and I think the Flyers could send a little more but they would like to add a goal scorer like Tarasenko I believe. he would be a good fit for them. Alternatively they could sign Panarin and trade Voracek for a defender. But I decided to go with that instead

I overpaid Provy to buy some extra years. He has started to turn it around this year and I think he will be just fine and in the future that contract could be a steal. I could see them taking a chance on him for that amount to get him under contract for 8 years. Just my opinion

Provorov is so good. Seriously. I feel like it takes a few seasons for defensemen to get acclimated to the NHL while a 19 yr old can enter and match the speed a lot easier. Once Provorov gets a little more consistent, him being signed to a contract under $8m AAV might be a huge steal.

I agree he is going to be just fine but I would rather take advantage of this down year and pay $5.5 for 4-5 years and then 10 per after that on a new deal when the cap is higher.
