I just want an answer. Sign them if you're going to sign them, trade them if you're going to trade them. I can't do another 3 weeks. I'm so tired....

Nashville can't, so they won't re-sign them....check their cap for next year before posting

I think he was speaking from an Ottawa’s fan perspective.

They can and they will

but seriously they'd have to do some wheeling and dealing like trade subban for futures or a 4M dman + futures and then probably trade smith but they could get it to work

Yah..Just like any team, trade a whole bunch of players to sign two...I doubt they want to change up their team to do that.

The Jets could trade Laine to sign Stone but why would they do that....Nashville has two top lines plus 4 great D's...They wont do this to add a third line forwards(on their team) in Duchene and Stone

Lol did you just call Stone and Duchene 3rd line players tears of joy They'd arguably be the two best forwards on Nashville. Arguing with Johansen, Arvidsson and Forsberg obviously (3 really really good players that are probably on the same level as Stone and Dutchy).

Also, I think if they picked up Duchene, they'd send Turris elsewhere, maybe for picks to recoup some lost in these blockbusters.

I was getting to the fact that Nashville already has two very good lines. And paying for them as well. So wherever they fit in the lineup, they will be part of the top9.

Again to my point, why would you sign two player and then have to trade 4 other top end guys to cover the cap hits...makes no sense
