I have never heard of Bellerive and Addison. Are they good?

No reason for the Pens to try and get another D man and not ship out one currently on their roster. I think just getting Staal is way more realistic.

All I (now) know about them is what I read here: https://puckprose.com/2018/10/16/pittsburgh-penguins-top-10-prospects-pipeline-2018/10/

What would you offer for Staal?

Both play in Lethbridge in the WHL. Bellerive leads their team in points and Addison is their #1 scoring Dman. Addison has the potential to be a top 4 Dman and a good PP guy. Bellerive will be in the NHL in the next 2 years probably.

yes they're good. Addison is probably the best prospect in our system right now and a right handed dman, a very valuable asset to a team with very little future talet. Bellerive is alright, maybe nhl potential to be something, dont really see him being an impact player though

A: Still 3+ mil over the cap
B: The organization has heavily implied they dont want to move their first round picks for a few years
C: Addison is the best prospect we have and a defenseman, if we make this move we bury ourselves into having no future and no way to keep the young guys coming up

Really not sure, if the Pens had a second round pick I would start with that but they don't the next two drafts. I just am not giving away my first this year if I am the Pens so its tough really.

Addison is a skilled puck moving defenseman currently in junior. To make the Nhl he needs to add strength and work on his defensive play but he reminds me of Letang. Bellerive is a skilled center that plays with a bit of an edge. Projects to probably be a 3C

I would say yes, Bellerive was undrafted and is torching the WHL, just interested to see how it translated to the big league. I can see him being a resemblance of Zach Aston Reese. Cale Addison is probably our best prospect in my opinion. Right handed defenseman with an offensive mindset. I have seen him play in a few games, and he skates just like Morgan Reilly. Obviously don't know if he would ever get to his level, but he is really strong skater and hopefully is a good puck mover. He actually plays with Bellerive now, which is pretty cool.
