3rd line Center and RW Kings Wild Blues

Description
Gotta cash in the chips at some point Sweeney.

All hinges on if Wild are sellers after Koivu injury. Would they prefer borderline NHL ready talent over future picks? Like the Bruins they have a shrinking window and need to go for it at some point here with their core of Suter, Koivu (rip), and Parise. If Wild want more I'd switch Fitzgerald with Donato or add a 2020 Second Rounder.

Kings management said they will be sellers after Muzzin deal. Bruins buy low on a player who can score. Would a second and good prospect be enough? Sweeney is hellbent on not trading firsts so have to compensate with a prospect. Not a pure rental which I feel benefits Bruins/would make them more keen to trading for Toffoli.

No real room for Cehlarik unless you plan him with Staal. Blues need wing depth bad. Been playing 7 defenseman some nights. 3rd may be a little much for Cehlárik so maybe a 4th.

Let me know what you guys think. Just some, what I feel, are reasonable trades for this team.

Isn't Cehlarik one of the Bruins better young prospects? Why are you giving him away for a couple picks?

Okay I’m on board with the staal deal, then it all goes tits up. Have you seen cehlarik? I’d rather have him than toffoli

Swap out Fitzgerald for Donato and I'd probably pull the trigger on that offer.

That Blues trade is random. I don't think Boston would do that, but the Blues would probably take it.

I'm not sure I agree, Beast. Cehlarik is nothing special. Blues will be looking for both LHD and RHD in that order if they are pawning picks.

He is, I was thinking more along the lines of Bruins recovering some picks they gave up to acquire Staal/Taffoli. He is still waivers exempt so they could stash him in Providence but he would be the first to go in order to get the roster at 23.
If Cassidy keeps Pasta with Krejci I would rather have Toffoli over Heinen/Cehlarik on Bergeron's right wing. Bruins absolutley need secondary scoring or they are toast against Tampa/other elite scoring teams. Toffoli is only 26, on a bad team, and has/can put up 20-30 goals. My optimal lineup would have Cehlárik with Staal and Heinen on the third line but Cassidy loves his fourth liners.

Keep the player over the picks, the picks are unknowns and are years away before they amount to anything, already know what you have in Cehlarik.
I think the Bruins would be wise to go after Toffoli, bet he'd flourish with Boston and it could be a good buy low opportunity since he's having a down year.
Most coaches love their 4th line types for some reason.. Lol

I like the Toffoli trade, and the Staal trade. The Cehlarik trade is probably not necessary and could be a 3LW in your lineup. Good job overall though.
