i wouldnt pay more then a single pick for glendenning and i'm a fan of his play

he's a Steve Ott type you give up a 3rd-4th rounder for and nothing else .

He will be in high demand at the TDL and still has term on his contract so the wings doesn't even have to move him now if they don't have the price they want. I honestly tought I was buying a little low on that one... Will see, he would definatly meet a need that we have and for the years to come!

not really he's not a UFA he comes with baggage and if DET isnt willing to retain a good chunk most contenders cant entertain taking on a soon to be 30 year old 4th liners with term unless you're paying them (same reason shopping Plekanec in 2017 didnt work but in 2018 as a pending UFA people were interested and paying )

Montreal wouldn't do either trade.

We aren't giving up a 2nd round pick and a former 2nd round pick for a guy having a one-season wonder. Montreal doesn't buy high. They buy low.

Glendening is going to end up on Toronto. Montreal isn't interested in paying multiple pieces for a 4th line center.

Brian Boyle just returned a 2nd round pick,Glendening wont be moved for any thing short of that.
