Kessel feeds them with hot-dogs to death. Also Kassian should be in and play like against San Jose in playoffs LMAO

Looking back, Mackinnon would've been a good choice. I took Bergeron because he's the best defensive forward in the NHL. Pasta is a great player, but as much as I hate the Jets, Blake Wheeler adds a physical aspect to the forward core.

Crosby could never be on a line with Ovechkin. He'd stand there in his stupid little circle all day and crosby would give him dirty looks for not skating.

Out of everyone, who should play with Sid instead of Ovi?

He's a grinder, he plays well below the line, behind the net. He needs people who can help that kind of play but with the ability to get open.
That's why Jakes does well. He's willing to go there and help. Ovi would never do that, he's too damn slow.
It's why canada always put Bergeron and Marchan on his line. They are those type of players. If I lined him up with anone there it would be Bergeron.

Is Doughty really worthy of that spot on the bottom pairing? If it's a super high-stakes game, I'd want as much production out of the back end as possible. Carlson comes to mind as a right-handed alternative, as he's just that much more mobile than Doughty. If you have the forwards playing really tight defence and forcing turnovers, that transition out of the zone becomes all the more important. I'd even prefer Klingberg over Doughty tbh, he's just seemed slow and bad this year and I don't think it's entirely the Kings being sh*t making him look that way.

I'm curious as to how you justify Matthews over MacKinnon, as your rationale for Bergeron is solid. Again, if the future of humanity is on the line, you need to go with the most mobile, best options available. Matthews has value, and is by no means a bad player, but MacKinnon is ahead of him right now, and I think that deserves consideration.

That’s a pretty dumb comment lmao. You clearly don’t watch the caps and have no idea what you’re talking about.

you should read your own comments and then rethink who doesn't watch the games.

Why is Phil Kessel here? I think Pasta or Stamkos would been better

gee lets see. Maybe the greatest Grinder of all time trying to line up with a player who has problems moving his feet. Seems pretty self explanatory.
The whole league knows slOV doesn't move his feet but Caps fans who are in denial.
