Why would Avs want Talbot? They have 2 there already his equal if not better.

The Caps and Leafs trades are the correct value, but Rattie is not worth a 3rd. He might net a 6th at most. He had a brief few weeks last season where he played with McDavid and scored some goals, but his career before and since has been a fringe NHLer with limited scoring.

Could be to anybody but I've been using CBJ and got tired lol. I think teams in the playoff hunt would value a guy like Talbot with retained salary to backup their goalie.

Vegas or Calgary much better options.

Yeah I think Talbot at 2M can help out any playoff team this year. Don't know if Calgary would be willing to trade their 2nd rounder considering they've traded away all their high end picks the last couple years. Vegas I could see, CBJ if they trade Bobrovsky, TBL to back up Vasilevsky, TOR to backup Andersen. Lots of these playoff teams could use Talbot and it'll most likely be around 50-60 anyways which is still worth it.

I could be wrong here but i don't recall seeing goalies get a whole lot of value at past deadlines. A 2nd seems like a lot for a struggling goalie.

As for Boyle, a 2nd was probably a slight overpay but he was never going for less than a 3rd. Big centermen who win faceoffs are at a premium at the deadline.
