To be fair, Markstrom deserves a rest, and he also has some tightness in his groin, thats why he isn't playing today. Let this be game be a learning experience for DiPietro

Yeah I agree that Green had no choice. But making your NHL debut against a red hot team that happens to be a division leader is not a fun way to start. I think that Green should have recalled Leighton instead. He has NHL experience as a starter and wouldn’t have suffered as badly. DiPietro is still our future backup/starter, but he has at least 2 years to go before he should play in the NHL.
