In other word, if you want the habs to take a 5years - 5M$ contract on a 35 year old Dman, It will cost you a prospect, but you get money to sign Panarin this off-season

-> other side of the trade would vary, MTL's offer is probably not enough.

This is a ridiculous post. Carey Price is a cap dump. He only has a .915 SV% and 2.55 GAA which is only 12th in the league...must clearly be an average goalie...right?!?! But still makes $10.5M a year. This is the logic you're using. Keith's 22:41 ATOI as a TOP PAIR dman...come on man. CHI wouldn't trade you Keith for Reilly/Hudon/2nd straight up! No prospects no retention. It wouldn't happen. Not even close.

***EDIT*** If you think Keith is a cap dump...then what do you think of Shea Weber's $7.8M cap hit for 8 MORE years?!?! Would you be willing to trade Jesperi to drop $7.8M?

the blackhawks arent moving one of their top defenisve prospects to move Keith. Beaudin is one of the big parts of the hawks future blue line. If you really want beaudin, try a different offer.

This too. CHI has zero incentive to move Beaudin unless you overpay.

Well ****, I've only proposed that trade because I saw some of you (Hawks fan) complain about them and thinking about dumping some cap -

You're right, 2x Norris winner vs 0 time Norris winner in Weber and 1x Norris winner in Chara… Let's be real. Keith's conditioning is legendary. If Weber can do it...Keith can do it easily.

Don't get me wrong friend, Keith's really good. I just don't think he'll play to 40 like the other 2 because his style of play is more energetic / offensive I believe.
