Description
Most of these are unrealistic. I doubt Sergachev is available, Nashville probably won't want to give up this much for Granlund, and Mcleod is an important piece to NJD future, but these are all ways we could restock the prospect pool and build for the Kaprizov + whomever we draft era.

He's not Swedish, and didn't play at all for NSH or their farm system. GMPF declines. scream

Minnesota is good team but their not great they don’t have True #1 center they don’t really have a superstar and a game changer honestly the west is so Tight for a Playoff spot Minnesota can easily tank and I think that’s what Minnesota needs to Is rebuild then be competitive when Kaprizov arrives

I don't think it will be that easy to tank. The west is very weak this year, Anaheim (bottom team) is only 8 points behind us. I don't think getting a lottery pick will be a challenge, but getting a top 5 pick to grab a 1C will be tough (unless we can trade up at the draft).

The Duck have lost 19 of the last 21 games and are still somehow not completely buried in the standings. This is a bizarro world year where it's easier to make up ground in the standings than it is to lose ground.

Yeah that would probably be a Challenge getting in the top 5 but if we trade Staal it give Joel EK to play with better players more minutes and can help his development obviously I see EK just as a good 2nd Line shutdown role center but if we trade Staal were gonna need EK Granlund Rask Zucker to Step up

Edit: the Lines I would do if we trade Staal

Aberg-EK-Granlund
Parise -Coyle - Kuinin
Greenway- Rask- Zucker
Foligno- Rau- Fehr

If Eriksson Ek can build on his past few games, I think his ceiling could be a 2C, but if he's the JEE we've seen every other game he's a bottom 6 C at best. Rask has looked awful, I'd try to send him to the AHL if I could, but no way that happens. I agree with Granny on RW, I've never liked him at center, maybe throwing Zucker and Granny with Eriksson Ek could get all three of these players going.
