Ironic overvaluing CARs players while you say that Johnsson plays on the 4th line and is under RFA control at the end of the season and still has a higher PPG. Ferland plays top 6 mins with PP time and has less PPG while being a UFA at the end of this year. Don't talk about overvaluing players when you just did the exact same thing

REL Corsi = the stat reflects a player's raw EV Corsi relative to the raw EV Corsi to the rest of the team when he is not on the ice

Example: Robyn Regehr's Corsi REL last year was -11.4, which means ~11 shots more per 60 minutes of even strength ice time were directed at the Flames

Johnsson: Has a REL Corsi of +2.7

Ferlands Corsi: -1.1

Meaning Johnson Stops on avg 3 shots more than average while hes on the ice at the leafs net while Ferland allows 1 MORE shot at the next while hes on the ice than the average of his teammates. Keep in mind this happens while they have the same point production and Johnsson gets no PP time.

Ferland makes a good rental, and Pesce is on a great contract. Quite expensive, all told, but you've built a good team.

Car/Leafs trade is kinda fair but im not so sure the leafs are willing to give that up for pesce, ferland is a forward downgrade, so essentially what uve done is replace gardiner and zaitsev with pesce and worsened leafs offence. I was thinking a Brown/Zaitsev/1st/Timashov for just pesce, lose gardiner to FA at end of year
