I'm not a NYR fan, but I'm relatively sure they'd absolutely hate that said trade. Brown and Soucy are AHL players with not real potential/value. Pionk's worth more than a 1st because he's a potential D, so we are left with Hayes for Rask... And considering NYR values Hayes around 1st+ 2 decent prospects... Sh*tstorm's is awaiting.

I don't think NYR takes that trade (Pionk is a good young player and is probably worth more than everything in that package) and I'd just rather keep the pick from WPG anyways. This team isn't a contender and there's a good chance Hayes walks after this season.

As a Jets fan, I would make that trade. Staal would be a great playoff addition and won't cost as much as Duchene or Stone

I've preaching a Staal to WPG trade since Staal's name started showing up in rumors. He seems like such a great fit for you guys, and as you said he'll be a lot cheaper than a Stone or Duchene (who will probably cost a 1st + A prospect + young roster player each).

As a rangers fan, I’d pass on that. Would need more value IMHO.

Rangers want none of that. Need to include AT LEAST 1 of Kunin, Greenway, or Eriksson Ek

Also between Staals contract and his leadership role on the team its likely a deal for him is made at all.
