Really like all the trades for Minnesota I would love to see Tolvanen in a Wild sweater and I love the Edmonton trade also for both teams Zucker gives them and option to keep up with mcdavid and they get Right handed Defenseman in Spurgen and Minnesota Gets a Struggling play in Puljujarvi he is struggling but I think if he needs some more Finns to play because on Edmonton there’s none expect Koskinen and I love the New Jersey center Minnesota gets a very needed center Prospect in McLeod he’s also right handed which is a very big need and the Winnipeg trade I think you could probably get a similar deal to paul stastny but as far as that both trades help both teams.

Edit : instead of Fiala you could probably get a Pick because it would be another log jam at LW when Kaprizov arrives and right now because I would probably do the line

Parise - EK - Kunin
Greenway- Coyle - Puljujarvi
Aberg - Rask - Appleton
Foligno- Rau - Fehr

Obviously if EK and Kuinin are playing amazing together so I probably wouldn’t want to spilt them up

Trading for Tolvanen has become a dream of mine. He's a left shot but holy moly this guy's shot is unreal. We need a sniper, and Tolvanen satisfies that and then some.

Zucker is such a great fit in Edmonton IMO. He has the speed to keep up with McDavid, as you pointed out, and he could score in bunches with him. I'm not very high on Puljujarvi but I do think he could benefit in a change in scenery (much like Nino did on NYI when we traded for him).

Mcleod has been on my radar since he was drafted. His speed is top notch and has a very competitive nature. He's been slower to develop but I still think he has top 6 upside and he's 2nd in points on an awful Binghamton Devils team. He could flourish in Iowa with more talent.

I agree about your Winnipeg idea, but I was just trying to go for prospects here over picks. My preferred prospect is Roslovic, but I don't think he's available so I settled for Appleton (who is also a solid player).

Yeah going after Roslovic would be amazing but I think they would only trade for a guy like stone and Duchene but like you stated Appleton is still a solid player and Puljujarvi can still become a very good I just think Edmonton kinda screwed it up they first should’ve sent him down to the minors like how Minnesota did with Granlund when he came over to learn the Noth America game and Tolvanen as such a good shot if we could get him and then when Kaprizov arrives would be insane

I think that would be tricky, and wouldn't really maximize value to either of us. Appleton is likely going to turn into a decent bottom 6 player and maybe a middle 6 guy. We trade you our 1st and you get a chance at a player with a higher ceiling and the jets keep an NHL ready player on his ELC when it comes time for some cap dealing this offseason.

I'd rather take Staal for a 1st in that case.

That is reasonable. How about a 2nd Suess, and Petan?
I want to keep the 1st in case of a bigger rental like Stone, Duchene, or Hayes

Problem is both of those guys project to be LW's. We have Parise, Greenway, Zucker, and Foligno as it stands on LW, so unless we move Zucker then neither of those guys have a better shot here than they do in Winnipeg. We also have Kaprizov coming who mainly plays RW in the KHL, but might be better suited as a LW in the NHL. We need right shot C/W's far more than left shot forwards.

Petan is much more effective as a center. Suess also plays centre in the ahl
