Krug isn't waiving, Ottawa doesn't want Krug and its not even enough for Stone, let alone trading him to a division rival for almost nothing.
The Dzingel trade could happen but Ottawa prefers getting a pick.
Vegas isn't giving you Hague for Anderson.
Youre getting too much in that Duchene trade. Youd be lucky to get just Pesce and a pick

Over-payment from Carolina for an expiring Duchene.
I could see the Dzingel trade happening though.

Carolina has to overpay if they want to reach playoffs on no. WHICH ? attempt.

Yes but not to that extent. They can simply go to NYR and pay NYR a 1st and fluery and get a solid top 6 with 1st line numbers for that 1 year without having to give up Necas their top prospect and pesce one of their best defencemen.

I just wrote that Carolina should take a risk at the supposed trade and overpay Duchene. That's the price if they want to reach playoffs after several failed attempts. Fans deserve it.

Speaking as a fan, we are pretty happy with the direction of the team so far. Even if we miss the playoff by one point, still a huge milestone and we will 100% be in the playoffs next season.
I personally don't think it is worth trading Necas, who could be a decent center for us, for Duchene who most likely would not re-sign here.
I hope that makes sense?

Clearly you haven't watched a Canes game since Pesce has played for the Canes because he is easily a top 4 D-man.
And how is Necas a bust? He hasn't even had a chance to play in the NHL yet...?
