Take Howard off, he's been good this year, and add Price. Bozak/Söderberg are honestly fine at their cap hits, I'd rather have them than Backes/Dubinsky for example

I havent, has he turned it around? There was lots of buzz last 2 years he wasnt living up to his draft hype.

You literally have a generational talent on defense and you somehow attribute Bogosians bounce-back to himself

Price is in that same category as Toews for me. Overpaid to the rest of the league but not to fans of the team.

I mean some of it yes. Big reason why he was overpaid was because he had shortened seasons due to injury

He's been doing better this year. His health is better which was a big reason why he was thought of being overpaid

He had been hurt the 2 previous years.

While you correct about Dahlin, Bogosian has played much better, that being said he is a bit over paid, but not enough to make the list.

By any measurable metric he's actually doing worse individually this year than last

I mean I still think Zaitsev is far worse.

But here's my idea of it: I consider Dahlin/Bogosian to be an average 2nd d-pair in the league - I'd say Dahlin is much better than your average 3.5 d-man and Bogosian is much worse, and this is backed up by any data/watching the game I've seen/done. You're free to argue differently, but to get to a different conclusion you must think that; a) they're much better than a 2nd d-pairing, or b) that Dahlin isn't that good and Bogosian does more close to/as much as Dahlin in terms of heavy lifting

I think we can agree to disagree.
I maintain his play has improved, while he is still over paid. IMO this site https://public.tableau.com/profile/bill.comeau#!/vizhome/SkaterComparisonToolv2/Dashboard1 indicates that is correct. He just a legacy of DATM terrible trades. He has only played about 43% for the time with Dahlin, who will be a generational player but is not that this year.

Soderberg is on pace for 50 points and he is COL's 4th best forward I dont think his contract is bad

I mean, again with the comparison. If Zaitsev improves he's still garbage. Bogosian has by Manny's WAR and other metrics performed worse this year, but even if he theoretically improved I think he'd be pretty bad

Johnson would be a good addition. I have a soft spot for darls, sounds like he might have gone through a relapse potentially.
