I think the Oilers lose. RNH is close to Ehlers. Jones is looking like a future top four maybe 6 and Puljujarvi should still have good career. I’d love to see him in Winnipeg. The picks are all low chance of becoming a valued NHL player.

The Florida one totally is. As for the EDM one, I would say to take out the picks and have a conditional one on Poolparty play in 2019/20.....like a 2020 1st going one way or the other pending his play or something

Ehlers is signed for another 6 seasons, RNH is a season away from UFA so that alone makes that trade very bad for the Jets and all the other pieces are pretty meh and don't make up for that.

RNH is a few seasons away...Tanev and Petan wont be re-signing so(But gives EDM options)...

RNH has two more seasons after this one then he's UFA, Ehlers has six more after this one till he's UFA, that's a huge gap and is why this trade would be a massive loss for the Jets. The other pieces going either way are meaningless and don't make up for losing Ehlers.

But we get a young D and pool..if pool doesn't work, we get a 1st rounder instead(my trade idea on this message)

Yeah that still wouldn't be enough to part with a known commodity like Ehlers.
