I figured it would be seen as low but I wouldnt give a top pick or prospect for a #4 D I could see it needing to be a 2nd instead of a third but not much more. I see juulsen as having a very similar style and ceiling as brodin he just hasn't gotten there yet and plays on the side that Montreal doesn't have a big need. I will add that I never watch minny play so I could be 100% off but I dont think it's that far.

Hudon has almost no value. I imagine the asking price would start with a 1st round pick + roster player + B Prospect.

Brodin is a legit top 4 D who can play top pairing with a very good player next to him (Weber). Juulson was drafted in 2015 and still hasn’t developed into a top 4 D yet. He’s shown some flashes but hasn’t consistently delivered anything. He could be a late bloomer, but it’s very unlikely he developes into anything close to Brodin.

Change Hudon for Lehko and your 3rd for a 2nd pick... that would be more fair... and I agree, the 1st round pick would be little too much!

Ah, the old "He's a top 4 dman, but he's only #4, so here's a bag of nothing in exchange for him".

1st+Roster player+b prospect.
