        Why would Toronto want Ritchie?

McDavid and third of league is too and we are not going after them. That makes zero sense. If it was DeMelo I would do it lol

While Toronto might not take him on, due to cap considerations with Marner this summer, there's no need to act as if he's not a decent NHL player who could be moved, somewhere.

Wrong team, but a 4th seems fair, for someone to take a chance on him.

Or, since cap space isn't an issue and Hintz and gurianov are waiver exempt, send Hintz and Gurianov to the AHL to develop, and play Ritchie or Peca on line four. Hardly the most important detail, here.

You're trading away Jamie Benn for Tatar, a 1st, and some stuff. Wow.

Then you're adding a pick to turn Nichushkin into Mirco Mueller. I don't think you have to add anything, there.

I could see them wanting him. Strong checking winger who has a 16 goal season under his belt. Wouldn’t be a bad 4th line option imo

Eberle will get a similar contract 6 x 6 No way he's signing for $4.5 million for 3 years.
