      Doesn't Callahan have a full no-trade clause?

Point would be 8.5 imo. That seems to be the consensus from what I’ve seen. Also instead of trading Palat just trade/buy out Killorn

Based off what? He's literally ahead of everyone's comparable at that rate. even if he compares to Draisaitl, with inflation that brings it easily to 9M. Jack Eichel got 10M but seeing as he was drafted as generational player, point should be at the very least right smack dab in the middle of both. 9-9.5M. (On a long term 8 year contract)

Edit: Also the longer it goes and the closer he gets to 100 points and 50 goals makes it even harder to sign him at the bottom rates of that estimation. TB has to get this extension done asap IMO.

According to this site, it’s a partial NMC where he submits a 16team trade list
So probably tough to do, but not impossible
Tampa would obviously have to add to get a team to take him

The Wizard Stevie Y isn’t there anymore to get that 8.5 number imo
You’d probably know better than me though
But it seems unlikely at this Point (see what i did there?) that he’d take a low number like that
For what Point is doing, 10mil over 8 years is a discount already

I picked Palat over Kilorn just bc he had a higher Cap#
They’ve got similar ppg numbers this season & idk who Tampa favors
Was just a guess on my part

Point deserves even more than 10M, but he is so humble and loves this team. I believe he will sign for much less (like 7.5-8.5M AAV).

10mil is already a discount for him though
