I'd argue Dumba for us, but Granlund is definitely second IMO. You're right, we don't have much lol.

You have lots of B players and prospects but not too be a jerk here but that’s what you get usually when you are a middle of the pack team. Get bad draft position

Scheifele is more valuable than Laine for sure.

No offense here, all of our prospects are meh except for Kaprizov. I think that's a pretty widely known fact, we got extremely lucky Kaprizov is as good as he is. It's also not due to drafting, it's because Chuck Fletcher traded away 3 1st round picks (if you count Tuch to Vegas) and 4 2nd round picks in the past 6 drafts in an attempt to "win-now". Iowa hasn't ever made the playoffs because of it.

I think we have a few good players. Parise, Suter, Spurgeon, Granlund, and Dumba in particular stick out to me. Zucker was good last year but he's regressed hard this year. Brodin is also good but he goes unnoticed since that's his game: it's bad to see him be flashy because it means he made a mistake.

I agree that he’s better but laine is 20 scheifele is 25. Laine has already hit 40+ goals and he’s not even close to being in his prime. I just think laines potential is what gives him the edge over scheifele

Too bad we don't have the cups to show for it applaud

That's why I'm such a big proponent for tearing it down. We aren't winning a cup with this team it's time to cut our losses and build for the Kaprizov era.

The problem with Laine is his low work ethic, and his awful defensive play. I know he's a former 40 goal scorer, but he's just not performing up to what he has the last two seasons. People won't agree with this statement, but Laine may need to be traded to give him a wake up call, and hopefully improve his overall game.

Totally agree with you there we gotta build around Kaprizov and be prepared for him to come he as said same with his agent he has every intention to Sign here I think he would understand why we’re rebuilding

He is the sole reason I have a hard time thinking about moving Granlund since I've been daydreaming of Granlund dishing him the puck for 2-3 years now. That said, I still don't, and probably never will, think that Granlund is worth the $8-9M he's reported to be asking. My dream scenario would be to move Granlund for Tolvanen+, somehow pry Nylander away from the Leafs, and have a future top line of Kaprizov/Tolvanen - Nylander - Tolvanen/Kaprizov. Assuming all of them reach their potentials, that would be the best first line this franchise would have in our entire history.

Yeah I agree Granlund and Kaprizov on a line together would be amazing because he is my favorite player on Minnesota but like what you said if he’s asking for 8-9 million I’ll rather trade him for a Center or Picks/Prospects it kinda would hurt to see him go but he is not worth 8-9 million probably around 6-7 million
