Tatar might be the best player of this trade in a couple of years, but this is some serious return. A veteran responsible defensively, a big winger that can play center and a LHD offensive Dman that can play big minutes? Without giving out any blue chip prospects? Habs can't say no to that IMO...

If I was Montreal I would just hang up...Brodin is awful and way overpaid. He is a $1 million d-man not a $5million one. He’s almost as bad as Jack Johnson.

Also Minnesota is getting the 2 best players in that deal.
