I was thinking the same. And we could pull a Chicago and shut down Pitlick until the playoffs and go over the cap for the playoffs.

Yikes, when was the last time Eaves was relevant or healthy? Three moons ago! Instead of taking a cap dump for free, you'd probably send Nichushkin or Hanzal...

Absolutely no interest at all in Eaves. Pure cap dump at this point and way too risky to take. Maybe if they take Martin Hanzal and a late pick back
