What out of RNH's career makes you think that he can be a 1C?

What out of Domi's career made the Habs think he'd be a 1C?..... Some times you have to try things to find out. Nugent Hopkins would be the Habs best overall center this year. Until KK is ready, the habs will not have a true #1 center.

Honestly I dont follow the Oilers closely enough, I thought RNH has been playing on McDavids wing? or did they move Draisaitl back there? I suppose if he is centering his own line and putting up these numbers with Edmonton...Montreal would probably have to add to the golden boy to get RNH

Listen, Im not validating whether the trade is right or not, just saying your argument doesn't hold up. The same could be said about a ton of guys. Based on what has done on a piss poor team I think he is easily the best overall centermen the Habs would have.

Nice deal, RNH is not a true #1 center but he would help Montreal a lot. And Drouin would help Edmonton a lot as a first line winger and they might be able to put Drais on the second line.

If they could resign RNH, he would be their future #2 center.
