Colin Miller to Leafs

Team: 2018-19 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 20, 2019
Published: Feb. 20, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
@DavidShoenLVRJ on Twitter reported, that Colin Miller will most likely be a health scratch tonight against the Bruins. He has never been scratched in his tenure with the Knights. Since he is a right handed D who can move the puck, the Leafs would have to have interest in him right? So what what would be the cost? Also worth noting, Miller played for Dubas in the OHL.

As a Bruins fan, I'd love to see Miller playing for Toronto. 2nd most favorable zone starts and still the worst GA/60 among his d-group.

I mean he'd be better than what we have currently have right? Or is he that bad?

That probably would have been his value in the summer, but according to twitter he hasn't been very good this season. I doubt the Knights are able to get that kind of value in exchange for him.

IMO Toronto's problem is the defense needs someone who will block shots and "protect the house." Miller isn't that guy, in fact Miller is basically the opposite. Now if you could add a guy like Chris Tanev...that's would be a great get. Can log 20+ minutes, play the PK, throw the body and block shots.

Zatizev + 2nd + Ozhiganov/Lindholm People on here say Zatizev has 0 value, I dont agree. I think Zatizev to most GMs could be worth a decent amount. Leafs dont make another trade to "Buy" without Zatizev in the trade because of cap reasons. Pretty easy to see the writing on the wall

I am sure il get tons of hate for it. but i pretty much called the Muzzin trade (I had Grundstrom, 2019 1st and Timshev) and got called stupid for that to smile
SammyT_51 liked this.

I wouldn't put too much into him being scratched. Sometimes its just a wake up call and the player usually responds, if it happened repeated times than maybe there's more to it. I would totally inquire about him but if you think Zaitzev and a pick gets it done, think again.
